Race director for the 36th Americas Cup, Iain Murray, joins the Royal Ocean Racing Club for another edition of their Time Over Distance series.
Speaking to Louay Habib about his phenomenal sailing career and the modern-day America’s Cup, Iain joins from Auckland NZ where he will be in charge on the water, as he has been for the last two editions of the America's Cup in San Francisco and Bermuda.
Murray has had an illustrious sailing career: six times 18ft skiff world champion, two time Etchells world champion and four America’s cups as a sailor. He has 3 overall wins and nine line honours victories with Wild Oats XI in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
